Rick's Bio Rick Morrissey has 8 years experience in the downtown Chicago real estate market and brings a wealth of industry knowledge to Sulder Sotheby's International Realty. His previous experience includes being named "Rookie Of The Year" in his first year as a REaltor, then holding the distinction of being the top sales agent for three years on a sales team specializing in lofts and later starting an independant rea estate company with two other partners. Rick is returning to sales after serving as a Managing Broker for Sudler Sotheby's International Realty because he enjoys the excitement of working direclty with the clients.
Rick studied architectural and industrial engineering at the University of Colorado and graduated with a BSME in 1988. His 11 years with General Electric’s Industrial Systems division as Sales Engineer, National Accounts Manager, Product Specialist and then Area Sales Manager gives him an incomparable background in sales, marketing and customer service.
All work and no play makes Rick a dull boy, so it should also be noted that he graduated from the Second City Conservatory Program, wrote and performed in three award winning shows at the Second City Skybox Theater, has received awards for stand-up comedy and writing, raised and owns AKC Champion Basenjis and Chihuahuas, volunteers at an adult education center, has recently learned Salsa dancing and occasionally naps on a beach in Hawaii.
